Recalls: It is recommended that you have an annual recare/check up for your dentures and your mouth including consultation and examination.
- Updating of your dental and medical history.
- Intra-Oral examination to check for abnormalities or changes in your oral tissues.
- Checking the integrity of your dentures for chips, clips, cracks and worn loose or missing teeth.
- Checking that all parts/and attachments on your implant dentures are engaging and not worn to cause undue stress.
- Discussing options available to you based on your needs.
- Reviewing of oral hygiene procedures and denture care.
- Cleaning and polishing of your dentures, if required

Tips On Oral & Denture Hygiene

Dentures:
- Try and clean and rinse your dentures after every meal.
- Between meals , brush your dentures with soft brush.
- Dentures should be removed each day and soaked with a denture cleaner that kills bacteria.
- Removing dentures at night is optional but keeping the dentures out for a period of time gives the supporting tissue in your mouth a chance to rest.
- Polishing your dentures once a year will keep your dentures glossy and new.
Implants & Natural Teeth:
- Implants are like natural teeth and need to be brushed with soft toothbrush.
- Avoid plaque build-up with a daily regime of cleaning and rinsing
- Avoid using metal tools to clean your implant components.
- Regular professional cleanings by dental Hygienist is required to maintain healthy teeth, gums and implants.
